Yes, the in-store limit is $250 per transaction. However, this limit may vary by merchant. If you exceed this transaction amount or reach your consecutive tap limit of $1,000, you’ll be prompted to insert your card and enter your PIN. This will reset your consecutive tap accumulator and you’ll be able to tap for up to $250 again.
